DESCRIPTION
Unoriented silicon steel is a ferrosilicon alloy with very low carbon content. The grains in the deformed and annealed steel plate are randomly oriented. The silicon content of the alloy is 1.5% ~ 3.0%, or the sum of silicon and aluminum content is 1.8% ~4.0%. The product is usually cold rolled sheet or strip with nominal thicknesses of 0.35 and 0.5mm and is used primarily in the manufacture of electric motors and generators.
